Above: My OG Mirage. To be honest, the first 1 or 2 days was kinda sucky and I was really tempted to head back home. However, 22 months of army training has trained me up to endure and I told myself that it's a camp which I have chosen to take part voluntarily, unlike the BMT 7 day field camp, so I should try my utmost to complete the camp. In the end, I think that decision and endurance paid off. It was indeed something worth remembering, though it was freaking lame with all the stupid cheers and games and also tiring at times. Next up... My virgin emcee-ing experience at the New Urban Male beach pagaent held at Tanjong Beach Sentosa. Thanks to Ziqian and Henghui, I managed to land a job as an emcee for the afternoon at this event. Despite not really fulfilling my potential and maintaining my reputation as Singapore's next Glen Ong ( I set high standards for myself, others may say it's a very good attempt at being an emcee), I believe I had a fulfilling afternoon as it was actually quite fun being an emcee at such an informal event, not to mention friends made! On a more personal note, the wonderful holidays are coming to an end and I thank all my friends who have had fun with me and also contributed to make it a truly enjoyable time. It's indeed worrying that many of us would have to finally sit our asses down to do some serious studying. However, I'm sure we will never forget the times we have spent together. Special shoutout to Melvin Lum: Hey roomie! We gona rule Hall 6 with an iron fist! Let's hope that we can have fun while managing to get good grades at the same time! Song of the month for everyone. Gwen looks absolutely gorgeous here.
As expected, I did not have the energy or resolve to update this blog as much as my fans would like me to. But be thankful there's finally a post!
Where should I start with? I think I should kick off this new revival of my blog ( I hope) with some updates on myself. Firstly, besides the usual Wednesdays at Zouk with CJ Nigel and co. , I took my first step into university life by participating in the NBS (Nanyang Business School) Camp.

Feeling bored on a Friday night where no normal 21 year old guy should be home, i decided to write on this almost-defunct blog.
Many things to be updated but after another night of Hideki-fuelled champagne, my mind has nothing but images from Wednesday night. (Friends of mine like CJ and Diyang may not agree, they claimed that I did stuff which I wouldn't have done should I be fully aware of what I'm doing. More of that later)
As research have shown, alcohol can kill brain cells and this is not exactly the best way to prepare ourselves for the upcoming university semester. Some of you may ask, "Why do we like clubbing so much?"
Answer: To enjoy and immerse ourselves in fun, friends and music. Another point not to be overlooked is the fact that chicks are often found on Wednesday nights in the clubs.
What we(or maybe just me) did not realise is, with the effect of alcohol which tends to blur our consciousness and ability to think, Patricia Mok can actually look like Fiona Xie. My pursuit of chicks resulted in, according to rumours(Diyang and CJ's claimed information can at best be described as rumours), an interaction with chicks with dicks which is definitely too close for comfort. Such an incident is not the first as a relatively famous event in the history of Phuture also happened similarly, with many pictures regarding the said event being taken. However, it has mysteriously been lost in the market and I urge anyone who have these photos to contact me via email and monetary exchange can be negotiated with regards to me securing these photos. A prospective leader in society should always seek to bury all information which is destructive to his cause.
Many degratory remarks also came out from my mouth according to witnesses pointing towards our Japanese benefactor. Words like " I want your Japanese sashimi" and "I am so naughty" were reportedly being used. Further lurid details would not be mentioned in this family-friendly domain.
A chick with dick.

In this picture, Indra the Mat is drinking alcohol. Many Chinese like to drink alcohol. However, Indra vomits after a can of beer, obviously he cant drink because it is against his religion to drink alcohol. I urge the religious police to please arrest him asap.Fortunately, there are numerous tell-tale signs that obviously show that he is a Mat. 1.Indra tak boleh cekap Bahasa Cheena. (Indra cannot speak Chinese) . After 12 years of receiving chinese lessons, Indra cannot read simple signs in Chinese. A true chinese would definitely be able to do so. 2.This picture is taken from Indra's friendster. The caption is "Ridin on a Modefied-Mat Bike". No further elaboration is necessary. 3. Indra is always sending us emails from work. Obviously he is not working hard. Laziness, very typical. I bet he is relaking one corner somewhere now. Dear Friends, I hope I have enlightened you all to the crossbred bastard that is Indra. Please beware when you are around him next time.
Dear Friends, as you can see, Indra Muhammed Faizal Abdul Yusof Rahman Azhar Ameen bin Ho Kian Hui has once again sent out defamatory email against me. He has pushed me over the limit and I shall exact my revenge by exposing his deepest and darkest secrets. Contrary to popular opinion, Indra is NOT a Chinese. He claims that he is an Indonesian Chinese from the slums of Jakarta. However, he is actually from the innermost forests of Kalimantan, Indonesia, where the lands are rife with cannibalism and terrorism
After many generations of cross-cultural inbreeding, the bastard(literally) known as Indra was born. Clutching this little enfant terrible in hand, one of his ancestors managed to smuggle himself to Singapore as a illegal immigrant by getting into a sampan and singing "Dayung Sampan, dayung dayung sampan..." as he rowed. Throughout his life, Indra has been trying to assimilate himself into the Chinese community. Unlike Indra, I do not spout baseless accusations. Evidence of the abovementioned is as follows.

Above, Man Utd fans and Italian police clashing at Man U's game at Roma. Football hooliganism has been a long standing problem in football ever since God-knows-when. However this year had been unfortunately a year whereby that had been many incidents involving soccer violence and it all started when a policeman was killed in Italy. An extensive study into this topic by bigbrohu has discovered many interesting facts about football hooliganism. In the 60s and 70s, football hooligans were a permanent fixtures at English soccer games and their presence were greatly felt during those times. Before and after matches, the respective gangs from different clubs would fight admidst their drunkenness. Up till today, English fans do still have a reputation as 'the drunken lot' and as everyone reading bigbrohu.blogspot.com should know by now, alcohol can indeed do alot of damage to people. What's more fascinating in my study is the hardcore fans from the Italian game, the Ultras. These Ultras have links to the Italian Mafia and also holds a stronghold in the club's management itself. They are seen as an integral part of a football club's support. More information shall not be divulged as Oonk Tong and the Italian Mafia have close-standing ties and we shall not try to disrupt that. Let's hope that scenes like above would not happen in the near future. We wonder if local gangs like 369 will start infiltrating our S-league stadiums but I guess that will be highly unprobable. Next topic to be discussed on bigbrohu.blogspot.com: Our ministers' increasing pay package. Stay tuned.

Life has taken on a whole new meaning now with work dominating a huge bulk of my time.
And that begs the many questions which I have began asking myself. Some examples are "Do I want to live a life whereby I fear the start of 8.30 am and that life really begins after 5.30pm" or "Is life really about living for the 2 days of the week,Saturday and Sunday?" and also "Is school life really the honeymoon period of our lives and that life is not gonna get any better after our school life has ended?"
This is just about a few samples from my endless list of questions about life since getting a preview at Raffles Place about how life may be after graduating from university. For more of this, we can have a chat over coffee or MSN where you can get more of my insights and views about life. I strongly feel that we should not be passive, typical Singaporeans who just work their ass off at work everyday and just go home after work everyday, repeating that cycle over and over again. Does life have meaning that way? We should always look at the big picture and ask ourselves what are we living for and also question the way things are going about.
Ever since i reached the ripe old age of 21, you people may have noticed changes in me. I would regard it as positive changes. No more throwing of bottles at people in Zouk, no getting drunk, even bigbrohu.blogspot.com has seen different and more mature entries ever since 28 January 2007. I'm sure many of my friends will agree that BBH has indeed grown up and is happy in this change.
Many random chats with friends have recently been revolving around this year's CLEO 50 Most Eligible Bachelors competition. I must say that ex-teammates Matthew and Daryl seems to be looking good and doing well in the pagaent. I wish them all the best and congratulate them for their impending adulation from the many girls that read CLEO. Hopefully you guys will appreciate this free ad and publicity that BBH, a widely-read publication, have given in support of you 2. However, 1 particular contestant had caught my eye and that is Christopher Phua. His J-pop face and also well-toned physique, not to mention that piece of art on his arm surely makes him 1 of the favourites in this competition. I will aspire to be like him and therefore, I've already made a to-do list in an attempt to try to look like him.
Anyway, 1 major highlight of the past weekend was this.
Granddad celebrating after O'Shea's killer punch to Liverpool. Come On UNITED!
Enough said for the day, hopefully I will be able to find more answers to my questions about life. Have a good weekend ahead people.

As many of you probably know, from tomorrow onwards I'm going to work at Ernst and Young for a 3 month term, bringing an end to this wonderful holiday.
And what a holiday it has been. It all began when I was clearing off/leave from army, and a fitting start was given with Zouk Out on the 9th of December. It was then a fantastic break that was almost 3 months long as I hung out and spent time with friends and also chalked up valuable experiences along the way.
For the first time in my life, I can say that I have finally killed off a certain bad memory from the past as I realise that there is indeed people around me who will always be there and will never let me down. Although ghosts from the past will still come to haunt me occasionally, I am confident that I can secure victory over them should they ever come near me again.
And so, a new phase in my life, a new adventure. I pray that the next 3 months will be another priceless experience that I can take with me. Bring on the OLs!
P.S OL stands for Office Ladies.

Photo courtesy of www.sammyboy.com Anyway, Ah Long gave me and Joseph really first-class treatment in his territory. My readers please do not let your thoughts wonder too far with regards to my previous sentence. What Ah Long offered to the both of us was a grand total of 4 jugs + 2 glasses of beer. Such was his great influence at Bu3 Tong2 KTV. It is no wonder considering he looks like this. The China girls there were definitely of sub-standard as I had seen much better ones in the form of $100-a-session China girls at Geylang. (Disclaimer: I do not frequent Geylang. It was just an observation I made when I was there to eat beef kway teow.) At bu3 tong3, I also saw the waiters there openly flirting with the China girls. I wonder whether Ah Long have contracted any weird virus from contact with those girls as he was conspiciously missing for the first few days of Chinese New Year, citing illness as a reason for his absence. Our VIP treatment continued in the main lounge where old tikos were belting out tunes from the 70s and 80s. We brought in a significant amount of youth and vigour into the whole place when I sang Mayday's Lian Ai ING. The old folks and China girls looked visibly surprised and happy with my choice of songs as they were all staring at us. After another few Jay Chou tracks, we left the place with a feeling of satisfaction and fulfilment. FYI, Ah Long has since moved on to work at Raffles Place, such is his level of adaptability in terms of environments. Little is known about his illness and I urge all readers to play it safe and keep a safe distance when coming into contact with him. And to those who want to share with us this wonderful experience, Bu3 Tong2 KTV Lounge is situation in Jalan Kledek, off Victoria Street.
