January 10th was the night when George Koh Jun Jie became of legal age to watch R(A) movies, go into the Genting casino without using fake IDs and he can also go to the polls to decide Singapore's future. To those who don't know George, he won numerous 'model students' awards during his time at Fairfield and SAJC. He was also part of the legendary SAJC soccer team that got a 2nd position at the 2004 Nationals Schools' Soccer championships.
Usually, people would tend to associate such a 'model student' with the characteristics 'dull','boring','hypocritical' etc.However, the fact that a rebel like me can be good friends with him bear testimony that he definitely do not belong to the above descriptives. Therefore, I've no qualms of organising this surprise birthday dinner for him although he persistently wanted nothing but a simple dinner with me and Lewis.Just a few pictures to illustrate what happened that night.

I don't know why but George seems a wee bit dissatisfied with his Emporio Armani watch which we gave him as a present.

He looks much happier now.

George, thanks for being a very good and reliable friend to me.You are the 1 friend that I respect most in terms of upholding your values and beliefs.Although some people may seem to think that you are boring or inflexible, I always do look up to you at the fact that you hold firm and true in your principles.Also, I won't forget those times when we had our gay conversations when we are doing our dreaded duties in camp at night. All the times that we have been through together, will only go towards building a stronger and lasting friendship together. Cheers to friendship. Cheers to Qiao Zhi being 21 years of age.
